Right now, we have a bill introduced in Congress that, with the right support, can eliminate the FET. The bill is called H.R.1440—Modern, Clean, and Safe Trucks Act of 2023. You can see it’s the real deal, but it needs more push. And that push takes money to get lobbyists to meet with the House representatives and get them on board.

We must convert only 218 representatives out of 435 to move this bill to the Senate. After, we will hammer the senators to pass the bill.
